West Virginia eased some COVID-19 restrictions across the state due to the decline in coronavirus cases. On Friday, Gov. Jim Justice (R-W.Va.) made the announcement at a press conference after the state eased restrictions slightly in February.
Restaurants and bars are now able to seat at full capacity. Capacity limits will also be rolled back on other businesses that still have restrictions, which includes gyms, fitness centers, retail stores and museums. Youth sports are also allowed to take place.

“For right now, we’re removing restrictions and we’re slowly deciding which way to go that we won’t jump on a buddy of that rattlesnake and really have a problem,” Gov. Justice said. “That’s what we’re doing. And we’re getting there and we’re getting there quickly.”
The governor said he’s looking forward to opening more parts of society and asked the people of West Virginia to hang in there.
